British budget surplus
Britain has a budget surplus of 5.4 billion pounds in January.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) reported that Britain had a budget surplus of 5.4 billion pounds ($6.49 billion) in January, reflecting strong income tax revenues.
A poll of economists by Reuters predicted that Government Net Public Borrowing Excluding state banks, it will hit £7.85 billion in January.
